about

This song describes the Bunong culture and lifestyle before the Khmer Rouge period. During this conflict, the Khmer Rouge destroyed most of their musical instruments and cultural crafts. They also lost some of their lands where they were cultivating rice. Despite this tragedy, they try to live the way they were used to, rebuild and preserve their cultural heritage.
